Chaleli is a small winery owned by Jaba Abaishvili. Jaba works at the Jighaura vine research centre, place where about 400 endemic Georgian vine varieties are cultivated, researched and rediscovered in order to reproduce exciting wines that were almost extinct from viticulture. Shavcapito is one of the examples that Chaleli is working with.

Taste: Wine is characterized by a dark ruby colour, influenced by malolactic fermentation aroma of cream and bread are well developed, which perfectly combine with the tones of raspberry and black pepper characteristics of the variety. Easy-drinking red wine that should be chilled to be enjoyed.
